Central Bank of Suriname publishes Semi-Annual Report 2013

SURINAME – In its First Semi-Annual Report for 2013 (2013-I) the Central Bank of Suriname reports that the global economic situation had not changed much since the last semi-annual report was published (2012-II). However, international financial institutions had revised the growth prospects downwards, as they considered the risk of the reversal of the monetary policy stimulus in the United States real.

According to them, this would result in less credit and capital provision globally and would continue the economic malaise.
