Cops still to locate suspects in murder of Venezuelan man at Grove
Police are still on the hunt for the two suspects who fatally stabbed Venezuelan national Woillian Fores on the Grove, East Bank Demerara (EBD) Public Road early Monday morning.
Region Four Commander Senior Superintendent Kurleigh Simon, when contacted last evening, told Stabroek News that investigators yesterday obtained several additional statements as the investigation into the matter continues. Simon added that the police are still making efforts to apprehend the suspects, who remained on the run up to last evening.
Fores, a resident of Post Office Street, Grove, EBD, was stabbed twice during the incident which occurred around 1:05am on Monday. He was rushed to the Diamond Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.(Stabroek News)…[+]
