Telecom to build a gigawatt-scale AI cloud in South Korea, with the first "AI factory" expected online by 2027. The project will serve AI services across Korea with plans to expand into greater Asia. Nvidia also announced a multi-year technology partnership with chipmaker SK Hynix, to co-develop advanced memory components for AI systems. The announcements come amid a global race to build AI infrastructure that has pushed Nvidia's valuation past $5 trillion. Huang himself signed a display at SK hynix's Computex booth with the words "Please make more". Additionally, Nvidia announced AI collaborations with Naver and Doosan Group (robotics). The deals followed Huang's weekend in Seoul dining with tech leaders and appearing on a popular TV show. (Bssnews)
