NB was summoned to the police station where he was arrested after behaving been questioned. The girl’s mother who had pressed charges at the Livorno Police Station on Saturday, November 2nd explained to the police that she took her daughter to the family doctor when she started throwing up. When they went to the doctor, they found out that the girl was pregnant.

The preliminary results of the investigation indicate that the victim and the suspect got acquainted with each other 3 months ago via TikTok. After a few days they decided to meet face to face. NB then gave her a ride to a store before taking her to a house that is still under construction where he threatened and abused her sexually. After the suspect had his way with the girl he brought her home and did not contact her anymore. The sexual abuse came to light after it became clear that the girl was pregnant. The police quickly identified the suspect and summoned him to the police station. During the interrogation, NB confessed to the charge and was taken into police custody. The police urged parents and guardians to keep a close eye on minors especially given the fact that sexual predators are looking for victims on social media platforms.
