because the members of the General Union at the Academic Hospital Paramaribo (ABPLAZ) attend union meetings every day from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The hospital made it clear that the emergency healthcare at the various departments is still guaranteed.
Loyd Pool, chairman of the union, explained that the union would hold daily union meetings until its members have received their money.
The workers at the AZP still haven't received the purchasing power boost and the transitional allowance. Reports indicate that they must also receive their uniform allowance.
