Minister Gopal emphasized that youths with special needs would also be given a summer job. “We do not want to exclude anybody”, said Minister Gopal. Despite the fact that more than 750 youths have applied for a summer job Minister Gopal explained that it would be up to the government to find a way to help all of them. “This is an indication that the nation’s youths want a platform where they can go for support. “Money is not a priority. The important thing to us is that we must invest in those youths”, said Minister Gopal. Meanwhile the deputy director at the JOS Ministry has confirmed that there are additional funds available to accommodate all of the applicants. The ministry would also contact local businesses to lend a helping hand to the project.
