On August 28th  B.R. evidently stole the bird that was in a cage that had been placed in a car that was parked at a gas station in the Kwattaweg. The car burglary and the  theft of the songbird that has an estimated value of $ 800 was caught on camera. The suspect who was identified when the police took a look at the security footage managed to stay one step ahead of the police but he was eventually caught when the officers from the RBTM went to his house. The stolen songbird was in his possession at the time of his arrest. The suspect is currently in jail awaiting trial.
