and 24th. The Ministry of Education, Science and Culture recently announced that these two days are for the enrollment of new students. Parents and guardians are urged to take their child along when they go to the school where their child has to be enrolled. Students who were granted dispensation by the Instituut voor de Vorming van Onderwijzers (IVOS) have to go to the designated schools between September 25th and 29th. The late enrollments take place every day between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Parents and guardians are expected to bring along the necessary papers, diplomas and report cards.  They are expected to hand in a copy of all of these documents. Parents and guardians must also pay the enrollment fee and the material costs. The Ministry of Education made it clear that there are a limited number of spots available at the schools but that school officials will try to enroll as many of the students who were registered as possible. School principals are not allowed to needlessly refer parents and guardians to the  Commissie Inschrijvingen VOS or Inspection VOS.
