In most cases the spare parts of some faulty vehicles are taken and put in other faulty fire engines. “We try to help the nation with what little we have,” said a concerned firefighter. Another firefighter explained that it is not standard procedure to take parts from one faulty vehicle to check if they fit in another vehicle. “But right now we have no other choice. We try to help the nation.”  Meanwhile some of the faulty vehicles have been repaired and are back on active duty. The firefighters made it clear, however, that not all of the vehicles that have been redepliyed are in top condition. They worry that they will not be able to keep this up for much longer. The firefighters are puzzled by the fact that their problems seem to have fallen on deaf ears.
