In Bajhang district, a lightning strike left an elderly woman dead and two young girls injured. A 12-year-old child in Morang district, a woman working in the field in Dhanusha district and a man in Jhapa district were killed in similar incidents. "As the lightning incidents rise in this season, the authority urges everyone to remain alert and remain inside during thunderstorms," the authority said in a notice.
