“There are days when we don't have enough bread for the children to take to school. On those days the children who don't have to go to school, have to eat rice while the ones who must attend classes get a sandwich,” said the director of Huize Campagne.

The director explained that after Stichting 1 voor 12 stopped delivering bread to this children's home, she had to start figuring out how to provide bread to the children. “I am dependent on donations. The government promised that it would handle the delivery of bread but we have never seen anybody from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Housing (Sozavo) and we have never received any bread from the government,” said the director who mentioned that the government seems to have forgotten all about the children's home that shelters 74 children who need bread every single day.
Stichting 1 voor 12 used to deliver 100 breads to the children's home every day. The director pointed out that children can't attend classes on an empty stomach. Stichting 1 voor 12 stopped delivering bread to the nation’s children's homes and retirement homes because the government stopped paying the foundation over a year ago. This means that Huize Ashiana, Esther Stichting, Huize Albertine, Sanatan Dharm Children's Home and Ms Lont who is a senior citizen, no longer receive bread. Sozavo claimed that it would resume the delivery of bread but still does not provide bread to all of the children's homes and retirement homes.
