the body had a gunshot wound which suggests that he was shot dead. It is suspected that the man was a member of a group of gunmen that have often committed armed robberies in the area. Investigators believe that the man was most likely shot dead by his partners in crime who then left his body behind. Police officers from the Capital Crimes Division and the Forensics Division and detectives from the Eastern Division went to the crime scene to carry out their investigation. The body has been taken to the Coroner’s Office in Paramaribo.
