that a prolonged domestic dispute may have led to the killings. The accused, identified as Indushekar, allegedly killed his wife and six members of her family, police said on Friday. The victims have been identified as his wife, Sunita; his mother-in-law, Roopavati; his two brothers-in-law, Shivakumar and Shankar; their wives, both named Divya; and Shankar's seven-year-old son, Puneeth.Police have so far recovered Puneeth's body. The remaining bodies are suspected to have been dumped at different locations in Bengaluru and neighbouring areas, including Chikkaballapur district. The couple had been married for about 20 years and frequently argued over Sunita's visits to her parental home, according to preliminary findings. Attempts by family members to reconcile the couple failed to resolve their differences. Indushekar allegedly resented the support Sunita received from her mother and brothers and decided to target her family. The killings took place at the accused's house in a residential neighbourhood on 59th Cross, near Bahsyam Circle, within the jurisdiction of Rajajinagar police station. (Timesofindia)
