that public funds of the TAS were ‘squandered.’ MP Mahinder Jogi (VHP) wants the government to explain why millions were paid to officials for activities that took place outside of TAS. He demanded the financial reports of the TAS. MP Jogi pointed out that he has information which indicates that more than two officials are involved. He wants to know how many people received money, how much they received and why the payments were made. The legislator from the opposition claimed that he has strong evidence but made it clear that “I want to protect my sources”. He also asked if the former chairman of the board of directors who is the current minister of Justice and Safety, was authorized to sign certain documents. MP Jogi wants to know if Harish Monorath asked for the required permission and approval before putting his signature on certain documents.
