If Arron were still alive today he would celebrate his 89th birthday on April 25th, 2025. The most historical moment in the history of Suriname took place on February 15th, 1974. That is the day when Henck Arron who was the then prime minister of Suriname proudly announced that Suriname would gain independence from the Netherlands before the end of 1975. Arron who is known as one of the great leaders of the NPS kept his word. Suriname gained its independence on November 25th, 1975
