The owner’s permit had already expired, and there was no certificate proving that he had undergone a medical checkup. There were droppings from rats and cockroaches in the kitchen. According to the health inspectors, maggots were also found in the oven where the meat is baked, and the meat was washed in dirty buckets. Upon receiving the report, the DC ordered that the restaurant be closed immediately. The MGD inspectors will reportedly continue to visit food establishments to conduct inspections.
