Boom Body reunites Shaggy with global hitmaker Akon and dancehall star Aidonia on this explosive new single blending Shaggy’s signature charisma, Akon’s smooth vocals, and Aidonia’s razor-sharp dancehall delivery. With the unmistakable pulse of a Shaggy record, Boom Body shows how he still bridges genres and generations with effortless groove. This release arrives during another milestone year for Shaggy, who is managed by Martin Kierszenbaum/Cherrytree Music Company.

In recent months he fronted Peugeot’s 3008 global campaign, co-curated and headlined the One Fine Day Festival with Sting in Philadelphia, and joined Fiat to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his diamond-selling hit Boombastic with a new version of the song featured in a campaign directed by Joseph Kahn. Also, as recently announced, Shaggy will perform a mash-up of his most iconic hits at the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, set to broadcast on NBC & Peacock on November 27.

The music video for Boom Body was filmed in Miami and Kingston, Jamaica, and directed by Sam Brave, Mid Jordan and Jay Will.
