Shatta Wale, John Legend collab for reggae vibe

JAMAICA  -  Artiste Shatta Wale has officially released his collaboration with 12-time Grammy Award winner John Legend, titled Ain’t Nobody.

Times of Suriname

The track, which infuses authentic reggae rhythms with soulful R&B textures, is now available on all major streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and Amazon Music. Written by both artists, alongside Rob Murat, who co-produced the song with Sean Kantrowitz, credits have Leslie Quaynor of Fantasy Entertainment Group as executive producer.

The rollicking collaboration serves as the official lead single for Shatta Wale’s forthcoming studio album, which is currently slated for a fall release. While a massive milestone, the Ghanaian powerhouse is no stranger to joining forces with American superstars. In 2019 Beyoncé recruited him for the fan-favourite hit Already from The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack. This latest link-up with John Legend further solidifies Wale’s status as a premier global force and a master of cross-continental synergy.

The song’s arrival is accompanied by an official lyric visualiser on YouTube, offering a stylised look at the track’s evocative songwriting. “This is a big moment for the movement and for the culture,” says Shatta Wale. “Music is a universal language, and bringing that authentic reggae vibration together with a legend like John was a natural vibe… This is for the fans who know that when we link up, it’s only greatness. To the world!” (Jamaica Observer)
