A full travel ban has been in place in New York City from 21:00 local time (02:00 GMT) on Sunday to 12:00 local time (17:00 GMT) on Monday. Mayor Zohran Mamdani said schools will be closed and all streets, highways and bridges will be shut to traffic - besides for emergencies. It is expected to be the most powerful nor'easter storm in nearly a decade for much of the region, bringing snow, fierce winds and coastal flooding. (BBC)
