Police officers from the Lelydorp Police Station rushed to the scene after having received a message from the Command Center last Sunday. When the police officers arrived at the private residence, they met FB who turned out to be the victim. FB told the police that he had called the Command Center because his girlfriend, AN, had attacked him with a cleaver when a heated argument between them got out of hand. FB who had evidently sustained injuries in one of his arms also told the police that AN had destroyed his smartphone. The police officers referred FB to the Emergency Room and arrested AN who was still at the private residence. AN is currently in jail awaiting trial. The investigation is ongoing.
