The getaway vehicle was spotted on the Wijdenbosch Bridge when it was going in the direction of Paramaribo. The officers of the UVO ordered the driver to pull over before arresting the suspects and taking them to the police station. D.D. was reportedly in possession of four bullets at the time of his arrest. The stolen gun was found in the car. Investigators found out that three of the four suspects are members of the White Glove Gang. J.A. was released from police custody after he had been interrogated. The three other suspects remain in jail awaiting trial. The investigation is ongoing.
