was arrested after he was found to be in possession of an unlicensed 16-gauge shotgun. Acting on information received, police ranks made contact with Thomas at his home in Baramita, and informed him that he was accused of threatening Shawn Benn with a shotgun at 19:57 hours on the same day. Bradley responded: “No, Officer, the man is lying.”
Police then conducted a search of Bradley’s home and compound. During the search, in Bradley’s presence, the police discovered one 16-gauge shotgun along with four 16-gauge cartridges and four 12-gauge cartridges hidden among some banana suckers. Police took possession of the 16-gauge shotgun and the cartridges. When questioned as to whether he was the holder of a firearm license, Bradley said: “No”.
Bradley Thomas was subsequently arrested and cautioned according to standard procedures. He stated: “Officer, I bought the gun and ammunition from a Spanish man for thirty thousand dollars.” Thomas, along with the 16-gauge shotgun, four 16-gauge cartridges, and four 12-gauge cartridges, was escorted to the Baramita Police Station.
