Rudrakanth Oemraw. Health Minister André Misiekaba explained that the investigation was launched in response to certain things that were brought to his attention by the newly appointed board. The director has been asked to take some time off because of the ongoing investigation. Minister Misiekaba pointed out that a short while ago changes were implemented at the SZF. During talks with the newly appointed board the decision to launch an investigation was made in response to certain issues that were discussed. “There are a few things that require a thorough investigation. These things indicate that actions were taken outside the rules. That is why I asked the director to take some time off so that the coast could be clear and an independent investigation could be carried out.” Minister Misiekaba was reluctant to reveal any details. “It would be premature to draw conclusions at this time,” said Minister Misiekaba who urged the people to be patient. Minister Misiekaba confirmed that President Jennifer Simons has been informed.
