The director at the MCP, Monche Atompai, told Times of Suriname that the investigation is ongoing. “The police are still investigating,” said Atompai who added that officers from the Forensics Division had visited the MCP to collect fingerprints. “We are patiently waiting for the results of the investigation,” said Atompai who explained that the MCP has not received any updates regarding the progress in the investigation.
