The police explained that they need help to identify and track down the driver and his car. An investigation has already been launched into this deadly traffic accident. The police urged people who may have footage that was shot before or after the accident to share this footage with the police. Investigators believe that a gray Nissan Cube was involved in the deadly traffic accident. The driver did not pull over to help the pedestrian but fled the scene. The pedestrian who had suffered serious injuries was rushed to the Emergency Room at the Academic Hospital Paramaribo (AZP) but did not make it. Anybody with information regarding this deadly hit-and-run can share it with the police by calling the Command Center at 115, the Santo Dorp Police Station at 485052 or the Mid Region Traffic Division at 5822025. The police made it clear that every piece of information could help to track down the driver who fled the scene of the accident.
