SURINAME – The government recently acknowledged that there is a huge  delay in payments and that suppliers and service providers are still waiting to get paid. Finance Minister Andy Rusland pointed out that the government is making an all-out effort to catch up.

The objective is to reach a point where there are no more dissatisfied creditors and where payments are done on time.
