and Sercinio Ansoe are safe and sound. MP Michael Marengo and Para District Commissioner Patrick Kensenhuis confirmed the reports. “They have been found. They are alive,” said the DC. MP Marengo thanked everybody who had actively participated in the search for the two missing boys. It all started when the two teenagers who work at a lumber concession decided to go hunting in the forest. But they did not return so they were reported missing. It was impossible to find clues because the area where they went missing is a vast smamp region that was flooded as a result of persistent rainfall. The water level in the Coppename River had risen drastically which is how the area was flooded. Soldiers and helicopters from the National Army were deployed to search for the missing duo. The army worked closely together with the police and the local community. Reports indicate that experienced hunters also volunteered to search for the boys.
